How Find Name works

Real names.
Real availability. Plain terms.

Find Name helps you land on a name and check whether the domain is genuinely free. No guessed availability, no dead ends after you've fallen for a name.

Search with a clearer picture

Choose a name and compare extensions. When our registrar connection answers, we label the result “Registrar checked”. If it cannot answer, we show a provisional DNS result instead. No DNS record does not prove a domain is free to register.

Public registration records can tell you more about a taken name. They do not establish whether its owner wants to sell.

Buying a domain

Registration links take you to Atom. Check the final price, renewal cost and availability there before paying. Some links may earn us a referral commission.

For a name that is already registered, you can explore marketplaces or send us a buyer brief. Brokerage is 10% on success, minimum US$500, with terms agreed before work begins.

A note about your information

Domain searches are checked with our registrar and, where needed, public DNS and RDAP services. DNS and registration-record results may be cached in this browser for up to an hour.

Buyer and seller forms hand you off to our contact form to send your details. Share only what we need to respond; do not include identity or financial documents. Contact us to discuss your enquiry or leave the seller list.
